Monday, January 22, 2018

Postdoctoral researcher Mylène Ratelle and MSc candidate Leicester Fung are in the DehCho region of Northwest Territories to return lab results for participants of last year’s contaminant biomonitoring project. We will be in:

Jean Marie River

Kakisa

Fort Providence

January 22 to January 24, 2018

January 25 to January 26, 2018

January 29 to February 1, 2018

During 2016 to 2017, Professor Brian Laird and his team visited various communities in the DehCho and Sahtu regions to collect biological samples (blood, hair or urine) and measure people’s exposure to contaminants. Now we are returning to these communities to bring back people’s results.

If you took part in our study and provided samples, please visit us and pick up your lab results. Thank you for participating in our study, we look forward to seeing you soon. If you have any questions or inquiries, feel free to ask our research team.
