Our speaker is Dr. Plinio Morita, an Assistant Professor at the School of Public Health and Health Systems and Director of the Ubiqutous Health Technology Lab (UbiLab) at University of Waterloo. He also holds a Cross Appointment with the Department of Systems Design Engineering. His research interests include remote patient monitoring (RPM) technologies. The research in his lab focuses on the area of mHealth and wearable technology design, ubiquitous sensors for smart homes, usage data and health data analytics, and technology for aging.
