Xinyu is a Master of Environmental Studies (MES) student, in the Faculty of Environment’s School of Environment, Resources and Sustainability. Her research focuses on implementing community sustainability plans through cross-sector social partnerships and the content related to climate change in the context of the plans. She is interested in the relationship between partnership structures and the plan outcomes, particularly climate change mitigation relevant outcomes.
Xinyu’s research is based on the quantitative analysis of the climate change data from a global survey of local governments. Some other variables from the survey, such as plan content and partnership structures, will also be considered.
Xinyu joined the team in September 2016. She just completed an internship with the United Nations Environment Programme China Office (May 25th - August 25th, 2017).
