Adam Livshits

Master of Economic Development and Innovation (MEDI) Student

Adam is a Master of Economic Development and Innovation student in the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development. Under Working Group 2, he is researching municipal green economy and social equity performance measurement indicators. He joined the N-ZAP team in April 2025. 

Previously, Adam has held multiple roles at Propel Impact, a national Canadian non-profit focused on social innovation and impact. He has also worked in social finance and social enterprise consulting at The Sector, Local Investing YYC, and Innovate Calgary. He is currently a Case Study Writer with United College at the University of Waterloo.

Adam holds a Bachelors of Commerce in Economics and Managing for Sustainability from McGill University. He is passionate about sustainable development, impactful business, and the role that municipalities can play in creating better economic, social and environmental outcomes for their residents.
