The Critical Battery Materials Initiative (CBMI), hosted by the National Research Council of Canada's Clean Energy Innovation Research Centre, is leveraging artifical intelligence (AI) to advance the Canadian battery supply-chain. WIEG researchers are generating life cycle assessment (LCA) datasets to evaluate the sustainability of battery materials and production processes.
