Research Interests
My research interests primarily include understanding the biomechanical mechanisms that occur during impacts which cause injury, and how these factors can be modulated to prevent and limit the severity of fall-related injuries, particularly in older adults.
Additionally, I am interested in exploring the role that varying levels of muscle activation before, during, and after simulated falls play in influencing impact forces and potential injury severity.
