EdTech Sandbox to open at Dana Porter Library

A new collaboration is coming to the Dana Porter Library (DP) this September. Located on the third floor of DP, the EdTech Sandbox will provide a centrally accessible, in-person space for staff, instructors and students to experiment with educational technologies, such as virtual reality headsets, 3D scanners and a 360 camera.  

This three-year pilot between the Libraries, AVPA, TII and ITMS will foster innovation by leveraging shared resources and expertise within a flexible active-learning environment, laying the groundwork for the learning and teaching strategies of the future.
