Students and faculty members in University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Guelph joint programs may on occasion need to access licensed resources only available to students and faculty members at the partner institutions. Filling out the following form will give you special access to those licensed library resources.
Within three business days after filling out the form below you will be able to log into the proxy server at the partner institution.
You are also able to request physical items from the University of Guelph and Wilfrid Laurier University libraries, using the request feature in Waterloo's instance of Omni (the library catalogue).
- To use the University of Guelph library resources, first search for the electronic resource that you want. After clicking on "view full text" you will see a login page that offers an option for TUG Joint Program students on the far right of the page. For your first time you will need to use the "click here to reset your password" link. On the next screen place your home institution's email in the 'User ID' field. An email will be sent to that account that will allow for a password to be created.
- To use Wilfrid Laurier University library resources, go to https://library.wlu.ca/ and search for the electronic resource that you want. After clicking on "view full text" you can sign on via the second option on the Login page, by using your Waterloo library barcode (begins with 21187) and your last name.
