Libraries Annual Report 2024

The Libraries are delighted to share our 2024 Annual Report.  

This year’s report highlights our work in key priority areas that lay the groundwork for the next phase in our organization’s development. 

Reflected in these stories is the Libraries’ place as a uniquely valued information resource for students, faculty and researchers at the University of Waterloo. At every stage of their Waterloo journey, the Libraries empower learning and research, from helping students to develop foundational research skills to providing researchers with tools and knowledge to appropriately disclose the use of AI in their work. 

The Libraries are actively engaged in identifying strategic activities and ensuring our focus is on the information needs of the campus community. We are pursuing opportunities to integrate library information activities more deeply with the University’s strategic directions. Collaboration with units across campus is critical, as evidenced throughout this report.
