To find out more about library resources and services available to members of the UWaterloo community, here are some key tips:
- Your WatCard is your library card! Use your WatCard / WatIAM to access and borrow resources from the Library, both in person and online.
- Library spaces for study and collaboration: The Library offers a variety of spaces, if you need somewhere to relax between classes, study for exams or meet with colleagues. Many spaces are available on a first come, first served basis or study rooms can be booked online.
- Use the Library from anywhere: Sign in online using your WatIAM and use the library’s website and catalogue, Omni, to find books, journals, databases, guides, and research support tools, or to connect with a librarian.
- Research support: Connect with one of our information experts for assistance finding information on a specific topic. The Library’s research guides provide another great place to start your research.
- Have questions? Ask us! Connect with us about any of our services or resources—using chat, email or in person.
