How do YOU use the Library catalogue?

A new Library catalogue is coming

University of Waterloo Library is working with a group of Ontario universities to develop a common platform for discovering scholarly resources and collections. This will mean users will benefit from easier discovery and retrieval of resources across Ontario, and libraries will benefit from each other's expertise and work more closely to manage e-resources and preserve print collections. While there are many advantages to this approach, some of the ways that you currently access resources will change. Specifically, over the next few years, the TRELLIS catalogue will be retired by the software vendor and we will implement a new system in its place.

User survey

We want to understand how you currently use TRELLIS so that we can assess how the new system will meet your needs, and identify any potential support needs to help users adjust to these changes.

You can help us by participating in our 8-question survey about using the Library catalogue.

Our commitment to your privacy

University of Waterloo Library is committed to respecting the privacy of respondents to our surveys. We are not asking for any personally identifying information as part of this survey. All survey data will be used solely for evaluation purposes. Survey data are transferred and carefully stored on an encrypted, password protected, secured network drive (electronic) or in a locked cabinet (paper resources). It is our policy to monitor our internal procedures regularly to ensure compliance with the relevant statutory requirements in all that we do, including the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and the University’s commitment to privacy

If you have any questions please contact our User Experience Specialist, Emily Christofides.
