Duke University Virtual Office Hours for Graduate School Applications

Duke University's Anti-Racism Committee is offering free application help for anyone applying to any psychology or neuroscience programs (not Duke specific) within their Virtual Office Hours program. The deadline to reserve a spot is October 31st, 2023 at 11:59pm EST.

This is a wonderful program where prospective psychology PhD applicants can get personalized help with their application statements from Duke faculty, staff, or graduate students.

Importantly, anyone applying to ANY psychology PhD program in the United States is welcome to submit the materials for review – it does not have to be a Duke application! Between November 6th and 17th applicants will receive individualized feedback (via one-on-one Zoom meetings) on your application materials (personal, research, and/or diversity statements + CV) from faculty, post-docs, clinical interns, and graduate students at Duke. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the graduate school application process.

All are welcome, but BIPOC, first-generation, low-income, and LGBTQIA+ applicants are especially encouraged to sign up.

This is a great opportunity for undergraduate students, research assistants, post-baccalaureate researchers, lab managers, lab stuff and any aspiring PhD students to get personalized, one-on-one help with their application materials. Please register by clicking the link in the event details or forward this information to those you know who may benefit from this event.
