Assistant Professor, Statistics and Actuarial Science

Audrey Béliveau

Audrey Béliveau completed her Ph.D. in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at Simon Fraser University in 2016 under the supervision of Drs. Richard Lockhart and Carl Schwarz. This is where she became interested in research problems in the field of statistical ecology, notably integrated population modeling. Prior to that, Aurdrey worked with Dr. David Haziza at the University of Montreal on problems of variance estimation and nonresponse adjustments in survey sampling. After completing her Ph.D., Audrey worked as a postdoctoral research fellow for two years in the Statistics Department at the University of British Columbia under the supervision of Dr. Paul Gustafson. This corroborated the Bayesian orientation of her research and she became interested in network meta-analysis and the challenges in analysing disconnected networks.
