Florian Girelli

Dr. Girelli is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics. He completed his Ph.D. at the Centre Physique Theorique in Marseille, France in July 2002. He is a member of the mathematical physics group (other members include J. Emerson, A. Kempf, R. Koenig.). He is affiliated to the Perimeter Institute, in Waterloo and to the Institute of Quantum Gravity in Erlangen.

His research interests are in loop quantum gravity, non-commutative geometry, emergent models for gravity, quantum gravity phenomenology, and quantum information.
