Richard Cleve
Since August 2004, Dr. Cleve has been a Professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, where he holds the Institute of Quantum Computing (IQC) Chair in Quantum Computing. He is an Associate Member at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics.
His research interests are in quantum information processing, and he has made several contributions to quantum algorithms and information theory. In particular, he has played a major role in the development of quantum communication complexity.
