Semih Salihoglu
Dr. Semih Salihoglu, an Assistant Professor at University of Waterloo's Cheriton School of Computer Science, obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science at Standford University in 2015. Prior to his Ph.D. study, he worked as a Software Engineer in Google, Inc at New York city.
Semih's research focues on both systems and theoretical research in data management and processing. His systems work focuses on developing systems for managing, querying, or doing analytics on graph-structured data, and his theoretical work focuses on studying theoretical aspects of query processing algorithms
