Biographical sketch: Joseph Cressman (1819-1888) and Veronica Shantz (1819-1893) were married in 1841. The couple farmed near Breslau, Ontario and attended the Cressman meetinghouse (Breslau Mennonite Church). They had seven children.  

Their son Joseph S. Cressman (1852-1925) married Lydia Wenger (1862-1948) in 1880. This couple also farmed near Breslau and attended the Cressman meetinghouse. They had five children.  

Custodial history: Bibles borrowed from Anita Cressman by the Archives for scanning in 2017 

Scope and content: Pages scanned from two family Bibles showing genealogical data, one belonging to Joseph and Veronica Cressman and the other a gift from Joseph S. to Lydia Cressman.
