Administrative history: The Multicultural History Society of Ontario (MHSO) is a not-for-profit educational institution which collects, describes and maintains material related to the ethnic and cultural development of Ontario. In July and August 1981, researchers Louella Friesen and Ron Sawatsky recorded interviews with 15 Russian Mennonites in the Leamington  and Chatham, Ontario areas.

Custodial history: Digital copies of the interviews were donated to the Archives by the Multicultural History Society of Ontario in 2012.

Scope and content: Interviews range from 30 minutes to two hours in length. Personal stories and ideas about Russian Mennonite history and identity are discussed.
