Music-Lecture Series

Dates of Creation: 1965-1977

Administrative History: The Music-Lecture series began in the 1966/67 academic year. Its purpose was "to provide wholesome and stimulating entertainment for adult members in the college constituency...[and] an opportunity for promising young artists, especially Mennonites, to be heard by a public audience" (J. Winfield Fretz, 13 July 1973). The series was planned by a committee of college and community representatives. It reported to the college board.
