Administrative history: The church is located at 4581-14th Ave., Markham, ON, L3S 3K2.

The congregation began services and formally organized in 1994. Prior to this time the Markham outreach was part of the Toronto Chinese Mennonite Church. In 1998 the congregation met for worship at the Hagerman Mennonite Church. Winfred Soong is regarded as the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through outreach by the Toronto Chinese Mennonite Church.

The group has been affiliated with the Mennonite Conference of Eastern Canada and the Conference of Mennonites in Canada. The languages of worship are Cantonese and English.

The leading minister has been Jean Hung. 

Custodial history: The congregation made periodic donations to the Mennonite Archives of Ontario
