Administrative history: In 1981 Adolfo Puricelli was invited by the Mission and Service Committee of the United Mennonite Conference of Ontario to study the needs of South and Central American refugees in Toronto. Adolfo and his wife, Betty, obtained visas to come to Canada for this purpose in 1982. The New Life Centre was established in 1983 and it operated out of the Puricelli home. It was recognized as a charitable institution in 1987.
Custodial history: The items were donated at an unknown time.
Scope and Content: There are newsletters and newspaper clipping.
