The fonds consists of correspondence by Jacob H. Janzen (1878-1950). Janzen was born in South Russia and immigrated to Canada in 1924. He was elder of the Waterloo-Kitchener United Mennonite Church, 1926-50 and Home Mission Worker in Canada, 1925-50.
A manuscript collection housed at the Mennonite Archives of Ontario is found at Hist.1.22.
Custodial history: The originals are housed at the Mennonite Library and Archives, North Newton, Kansas. The microfilms were produced in 1977 by Henry Paetkau and Sam Steiner.
