Title: Christian Eby family fonds
Dates of creation: 1790, 1800
Physical description: 5 cm of textual records
Biographical sketch: Christian Eby (1704-1756) was born in Germany and died in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. His son George (or Georg) was born and lived in Lancaster County. His daugher Esther (1774-1826) married Peter Reesor (or Risser, 1775-1854). The couple moved to Markham Township, York County.
Custodial history: The book passed from Christian Eby to George Eby to Peter Reesor.
Scope and content: A New Testament in German (front cover and title page missing). On the inside of the back cover are handwritten notes by George Eby and Peter Reesor confirming the death dates of Christian and George. A transcription is included in the file.
