Biographical sketch: Christian Neuhauser (1767-1809) and Magdalena Zwalter (1772-1814) were married in Lorraine, France in 1794. The couple had five children; three (Christian, Magdalena and John) survived infancy and emigrated to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
