Administrative history: The congregation began services in 1980 at the Grantham Mennonite Brethren Church, and formally organized in 1983. For many years it met at the St. Catharines United Mennonite Church. Southin Luangrath is considered the founding leader of the group. Its first pastor was Tong Chitchalerntham. The congregation originated through the efforts of a family of refugees who arrived in Canada in the late 1970s.
Custodial history: Transferred from the fonds of the Conference of United Mennonite Churches in Ontario and Mennonite Church Eastern Canada.
