Administrative history: Chartered in 1875, the Mennonite Publishing Company was located in Elkhart, Indiana. A stock company, it was forced into bankruptcy in 1903 and sold its periodical publications (Herald of Truth andMennonitische Rundschau) to the Mennonite Publication Board of the Mennonite Church. The Company published both books and periodicals in German and English serving Mennonites and Amish Mennonites. It's charter ended in 1925. Scope and content: The fonds consists of two 1908 Christmas gift flyers, one in English and one in German.
