Biographical sketch: Nancy Stauffer (1843-1915) was the fourth of 13 children born to Jacob and Elizabeth (Mosser) Stauffer on a farm near Plattsville, Ontario. She married Joseph Kolb in 1866. They resided in Breslau and had five children.
Custodial history: Received by the Mennonite Historical Library (Goshen College) from Phoebe Mumaw Kolb (wife of a cousin of Joseph Kolb) in 1959. Subsequently transferred to the Archives of the Mennonite Church in 1992, and to the Mennonite Archives of Ontario in 2013.
Scope and content: Contains four small greeting albums which contain verses written by friends, children, and grandchildren to Nancy Stauffer Kolb between December 1911 and January 1912. Greetings come from Freeport (Illinois), Caledonia (Michigan), Breslau (Ontario), Berlin (Ontario), Guernsey (Saskatchewan), etc.
