Title: Donovan E. Smucker fonds

Biographical sketch: Donovan Smucker (1915-2001) was born in Ohio. He married Barbara Claassen in 1939; the couple had three children. He completed a Ph.D. at the University of Chicago in 1957. He worked as a pastor, university professor, and college administrator. His primary interests included Christian ethics, active peacemaking, and race relations. For 1970-1981, he was a Professor of Social Sciences and Peace and Conflict Studies at Conrad Grebel College.

Custodial history: Materials were received from Donovan Smucker, except for the PACS 230 materials which were transferred from the Archives of the Mennonite Church, Goshen, Ind., in 2013.
