Biographical sketch: Elmo Stoll (1944-1998) was a member of the Old Order Amish church and resided near Aylmer, Ontario. As an Amish Bishop, in 1990 he withdrew from the Amish church to organize a plain, horse-and-buggy, English-speaking, communal Anabaptist church in Tennessee.
Custodial history: Donated to the archives in 1993 by Sam Steiner
Scope and content: The fonds consists of a photocopy of a booklet compiled by Elmo Stoll justifying his withdrawal from the Amish church.
