Biographical sketch: In 1923, Helena Pauls, her husband Bernhard, and their 6 children travelled from Chortitza, Russia to Canada.
Custodial history: This manuscript was transferred to Hist.Mss.1.242 from the Mennonites in Canada collection file "1920 - Refugees".
Scope and content: Contains a typewritten manuscript of the letters of Helena Pauls describing her trip to relatives in Rosthern, Saskatchewan. The letters were transcribed by her daughter, Elizabeth Klaassen, wife of H.T. Klaassen.
