Biographical sketch: Moses Gingrich was a Mennonite living in the Township of Woolwich in 1869.
Custodial history: Copy of original received from the Woolwich Historical Foundation Archives in 2005.
Scope and content: Two photocopies of an "Affidavit of Menonist for Militia Exemption" issued to Moses Gingrich by the Justice of the Peace and signed by Bishop Abraham W. Martin.The affidavit was required for exemption from military service.
