Lassonde’s Prof. Sushanta Mitra has been inducted as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering.
Mitra is the Chair of Mechanical Engineering at the Lassonde School of Engineering and Kaneff Professor in Micro & Nanotechnology for Social Innovation.
Professor Sushanta Mitra, Chair of Mechanical Engineering, has been given the prestigious honour of delivering a public lecture at Techfest on January 2, 2015 in Mumbai.
The title of his talk is: Convergence of Science, Engineering and Technology for Social Impact.
Prior to departing for India, Lassonde’s Chair of Mechanical Engineering and former professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay gave an overview of the research mission to India and the outcomes he expects.
