Congratulations to PhD student Beth Godkin on her recent successful publication within the Journal of Neurology, "Feasibility of a continuous, multi-sensor remote health monitoring approach in persons living with neurodegenerative disease".
This paper is based on a data collection as part of the Remote Monitoring in people with Neurodegenerative Diseases (ReMiNDD) study within the larger Ontario Neurodegenerative Disease Research Initiative (ONDRI) network and is a collaborative output from the ONDRI@Home team, led by Drs. Karen Van Ooteghem and Bill McIlroy. The ReMiNDD study aimed to examine how people living with cerebrovacular disease or neurodegenerative disease accepted and adhered to multiple wearable sensors for remote health monitoring. This recent publication addresses the feasibility of sensor wear and lays the foundation for our future remote monitoring studies within ONDRI. Beth Godkin is an instrumental piece to the ONDRI team within our lab and will continue to support these efforts in a major role!
Bonus to this publication is Beth's Kitchener Today interview with local legend Brian Bourke, listen here!!
