A recent poll in Maclean's magazine has positioned Waterloo as the top university for post-graduation employment.
By Natalie Quinlan University RelationsWhen it comes to preparing students for employment, Maclean's magazine gives the University of Waterloo top spot.
In a survey that included nearly 24,000 students across Canada, 66 per cent of participants said they strongly agreed Waterloo prepared them for post-graduation employment, with the remaining 27 per cent saying they somewhat agreed.
When asked, some Waterloo students contributed the first-place ranking to great co-op experiences, research opportunities, and teachers that make lessons applicable to the working world.

Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
