Professor Steve Manske from the University of Waterloo is available to speak to the media on the Canadian Cancer Society’s new report on the use of flavoured tobacco among Canadian youth.  

Professor Manske can also address the various provincial releases related to the national release, such as those from the Ontario Campaign for Action on Tobacco and Campaign for a Smoke-Free Alberta.

When William Zhou started his computer science degree at the University of Waterloo he was also in the midst of launching his first company.

Professor Jim Walker of the Faculty of Arts received the honour after his peers selected him from a list of exceptional candidates. He teaches in the Department of History at Waterloo.

The Waterloo Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) will host 150 elementary and secondary school teachers from across the province and around the world at two conferences this month.
