Critical Minerals and Materials Connector Event

The Critical Minerals and Materials Connector Event brings together organizations and University of Waterloo researchers working across critical minerals and materials value chains to develop partnerships and build opportunities to bring world-class research and innovation to life.

Organizations will be asked to submit questions or challenges they wish to discuss with academic experts. Topics of interest may include:

  • Systems-based analysis of critical minerals and materials value chains 
  • Advanced materials (development, processing and recycling)
  • Next-generation mining technologies, including innovation in automation, AI and communications
  • Sustainable resource management and environmental impact 
  • Indigenous relations
  • Policy and risk assessment 

Join us to explore new ideas and solutions to the challenges facing the sector.
