Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in Project Planning
The presentation will focus attention on the meaning, nuances and importance of incorporating EDI in organizations and projects, with a special emphasis on impact of inequities and disparities on human health. We will also discuss some do’s and don’ts of EDI work and brainstorm ways of incorporating EDI during project planning.

Kalpita’s current role at Campus Wellness includes collaborating with a diverse group of partners across the campus on projects that address physical, mental, social and spiritual health. Kalpita has led various initiatives on campus such as the Mental Health Literacy Strategy development project, Thrive, Covid-19 Health Promotion Communication project etc. Kalpita will soon be providing leadership on health equity impact assessments with the goal of incorporating equity, diversity and inclusion in various projects, processes, policies etc.
