Process of psychotherapy and working alliance

Chris Carniello is a Honours Arts Psychology Co-operative Program student at the University of Waterloo. His research interests include the process of psychotherapy, working alliance, depression in intimate relationships and differences of personality types with regards to moral decision making. Outside of PIRT, Chris is contributing to research in Social Psychology, examining the roles of threat and defense in prejudice. In these studies, he explores masculinity threat and the subsequent homophobic behaviour or cognition that ensues. Chris hopes to attend graduate school in clinical psychology to earn a PhD.
