Jasleen Kaur is working as a Scientist II in HTAIn Secretariat, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi. She has spent close to four years as a PhD Research scholar under the project Mek-2 funded by Microsoft Mobile University relations, Finland and close to one year as an Assistant Professor at Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana.

She has completed her PhD in Computer Science & Engineering from IGDTUW, New Delhi in 2021, M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering in 2013 and B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Kurukshetra University in 2011.

She is presently working on the design and development of customizable web based & desktop API for the interoperability of antimicrobial resistance data, development of covid-19 testing data APIs, Web API for automation of computational workflow of genomic analysis and standalone software development with automation of Covid-19 Genome Assembler pipeline. She is also involved in writting the bio-python based generic scripts for the biologists.

She has published 15 research papers in refereed journals, presented 6 research papers in national & international conferences and published 4 Indian patents. She has attended more than 10 national workshops and short term courses on IoT enabled Smart Devices organized in collaboration with Microsoft, Intel and DIC-MHRD. She has delivered expert lectures in national webinar on IoT and in short term courses on IoT at NITTTR, Chandigarh.
