What are you doing now and how does your engineering education from Waterloo help with your life today?

I work as a Product Manager in the Human Capital Management industry, where I get to collaborate with cross-functional software teams to create impactful and engaging mobile solutions. My education in Systems Design Engineering from Waterloo emphasized interdisciplinary and user-centred thinking, which helps me tackle problems at their core by understanding diverse perspectives from customers, end users, and leaders in technical and business strategy.

Why did you decide to be a part of REAC?
After coming across REAC and learning more about it, it seemed like a neat way to get involved and advocate for Waterloo Engineering. I loved the idea of being able to foster a community of recent alumni and build a strong support system. With mentorship in particular, it is something I personally seek at this point in my life as a recent alum, so the work being done on REAC really resonates with me.

What is a favourite piece of advice or quote that you would be interested in sharing?

What was your favourite place to eat at in Waterloo?
The Alley - with the amount of tapioca pearls I get in my bubble tea, you can classify it as a meal.

Do you have any fun and/or interesting media recommendations? Could be a book, song, movie, documentary, videogame, etc.
Dune Part One and Two! Both are great movies.
