Vanessa Tran

Vanessa completed her B.A. in Honours Psychology at the University of Waterloo in 2018 and she is interested to pursue a Masters degree after gaining some working experience as a Lab Manager. As a Lab Manager, she handles administrative tasks as well as help Graduate students with their projects such as recruiting participants, data analysis, and coding.

For Vanessa’s honours thesis, she worked with Dr. Uzma Rehman to investigate the barriers that influence women's safer sex communication with her current partner. She is currently refining this study with Dr. Uzma Rehman to examine couples in newly established relationships.

Outside of school, Vanessa enjoys cooking, watching tv shows, and spending time with her friends.
