Ph.D. student, School of Planning, Faculty of Environment
Foruzan Ramezanian is a Ph.D. student in the School of Planning under the supervision of Michael Drescher. She obtained her B.Sc. in Architecture and M.Sc. in Urban Design in her home country, Iran. Her research interests include socio-ecological resilience, nature-based solutions, urban gardening and agriculture, and more-than-human approaches to urban planning. Her dissertation will contribute to a more thorough understanding of the RISE Scorecard: how it is being used by multiple stakeholders, and whether and how the RISE Scorecard might encourage a potential policy change with municipal staff and land developers to preserve and retain natural features in their developments.
