Study Title: Intracortical inhibition in the motor cortex using controllable pulse parameter TMS

A schematic of the transcranial magnetic stimulation procedure showing the TMS coil over top of the participant's head, the placement of measurement electrodes and an example of the measured outcome

We are looking for young healthy participants between the ages of 18-35 to take part in a study to understand inhibitory pathways in the brain.

Individuals willing to participate in this study will be asked to attend one session lasting approximately three hours.

During this time, you will be seated in a chair. We will put electrodes on the skin on the back of your right hand to measure muscle twitches elicited by a form of non-invasive brain stimulation called transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

In appreciation for your time you will receive $10/hour.

To arrange participation or to learn more about this study please email Kylee Graham (krgraham@uwaterloo.ca).
