Professor Meehan’s research is focus on: 1) how the brain extracts sensory inputs about the body and environment to guide skilled motor behaviour, 2) how these processes changes with skill acquisition and 3) how cognitive factors, such as the allocation of attention or use of working memory, impact skilled motor control and learning.
