Zaid Raheen

Undergradaute Student

Zaid is an undergraduate student completing an undergraduate senior research thesis (KIN 431/432) over the 2024-2025 academic year. Zaid is currently working towards the Bachelor of Science degree in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences

Zaid's thesis research focuses on concussion and the persistent effects of concussion despite being cleared to return to typical activities. In particular, Zaid is interested in quantifying neural noise as a marker of the persistent changes in the brain's ability to extract and use relevant information to guide skilled movements after concussion.

Prior to pursuing their undergraduate thesis research, Kayla complete a KIN 391 (Research Internship) in the SCiLL lab during the Fall 2023 semester.
