Lab opportunities

Volunteers

If you are interested in getting some practical research experience, we are always looking for people to help out in the lab! Volunteers will get training and experience in helping to set up different research protocols alongside our lab members. You will get to observe and work with equipment such as:

  • Nerve Stimulation
  • Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
  • Electroencephalography (EEG)

Please contact us if you would like to learn more about what we do and how you can get involved!

Graduate studies

If you are thinking about pursuing graduate studies, love all things research and are passionate about understanding how the brain facilitates learning and development, you may want to think about becoming a part of the lab here in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo!

Please feel free to contact Professor Richard Staines about potential opportunities or contact any of the graduate students if you would like to know more about the work we do!
