Cassidy Raynham (she/her)
Hi Shads! I’m so excited to be coming back this summer for my third Shad! I always have such a great experience and I know you’ll all love it as much as I do. In 2022, I graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Knowledge Integration and a minor in Math. I just finished my Teacher Education at Western University where I studied high school Math and Health & Phys. Ed.
I have worked at the STEAM Education Centre in St. Thomas, ON for five years in various roles—so I’m no stranger to interdisciplinarity, entrepreneurship, and design! I love ‘Making’ of all kinds, especially laser cutting and vector graphics. I also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Waterloo with Rob Gorbet, facilitating group work in the museum exhibit design course. When I’m not doing teachery-things, you can find me watching the Blue Jays, playing with my cat, doing Karate, bouldering, or playing board games (lots of Cribbage and Wingspan)!
I can’t wait to meet you all and have the most unforgettable July together!
