Hi Shads! I'm excited to return to Shad Waterloo for another great summer. This will be my fifth (very non-consecutive) time working with Shad Waterloo, and every time I am reminded of the great people; the experiences; and the opportunities to grow, fail, learn, and share.
I'm originally from Kitchener/Waterloo and completed my undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Transportation at University of Waterloo. Since then I have lived in Calgary, where I work for a consulting engineering firm designing highways, roads, interchanges, and bus and light rail transit systems. I have also worked with new technologies and techniques to integrate 3D modelling into the design process to provide greater collaboration and understanding of complex engineering systems across different groups and disciplines.
Outside of work I enjoy playing video games, building LEGO, weight training, reading, and watching movies. I am also kept extremely busy through the fall and spring with FIRST Robotics, where I referee the FLL, FTC, and FRC programs. I look forward to meeting you all this July, learning about your interests and going on the Shad journey that we are all about to embark on.
