Welcome to Shad Waterloo, Shad’s longest-running campus program! Shad has been a July home-away-from-home for me since 2008, and I'm just as excited as ever to be heading into this year's program! I’ll be your Program Director at Shad Waterloo, and along with this year's team I'm really looking forward to hosting you this July.
I'm an electrical engineer, a technology artist, and a professor who teaches museum exhibit design in Waterloo's unique interdisciplinary Knowledge Integration undergraduate program. As you might expect, I love the combination of traditional STEM subjects with arts & humanities. I also love words, connections, relationships, and the sharing of ideas. I look forward to meeting you in July and to learning about and with you throughout our month together!
