Howdy Shads! I’m deeply looking forward to joining you at Shad Waterloo and sharing ideas, perspectives and dinner table conversations. I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world helping people learn to use a futures thinking & design thinking approach to come up with transformative ideas and new business models. Before that, I had two previous careers: first in Silicon Valley designing software and managing teams building software, and then creating interactive art & design installations. In the meantime, I've taught courses in foresight, design & facilitation at the Rotman School of Management at UofT, OCADU, TMU and the Canadian Film Centre. My undergraduate degrees at Penn were in Computer Science and Psychology, and I hold a Master of Design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCADU. I am always interested in conversations about the ways the world is changing and what that might mean for our individual & collective futures.

This will be my fifth in-person year at Shad Waterloo, and I look forward to spending July finding out about your many fascinations and sharing a few of mine, including board games, snacks, collaboration, improv, and the mathematical pattern languages of origami and crochet. See you in July!
